Jennifer Hawkins Had Plastic Sugery or Not

See more of Jennifer's transformation here by clicking the image above.

The long ongoing discussion about whether Hawkins has had plastic surgery was rekindled by current Miss Universe Australia contestant Scherri-Lee Biggs at the weekend who said Hawkins had "gone too far" with surgery, the Herald Sun reports.
Biggs reportedly said Hawkins was hardly recognisable, compared with the woman who won the prestigious beauty crown seven years ago.
Finch yesterday said she preferred Biggs' beauty to Hawkins', but did not know for certain whether Hawkins had had plastic surgery.
"She denied it, so maybe she hasn't, but I love what she looks like in a picture in 2004. Whether it might be weight-loss or changes in the face in maturity, whatever it is, it looks so beautiful and fresh in 2004."
Hawkins' management has consistently refused to comment on whether she has had any cosmetic surgery.

Indiana State Fair, killing 5 and injuring dozens

The wind was far stronger than that in other areas of the fairgrounds, said Dan McCarthy, chief meteorologist for the National Weather Service in Indiana. He estimated the gust at 60 to 70 miles per hour.

Four people were killed when the metal scaffolding that holds lights and other stage equipment fell, and a fifth died overnight at a hospital, said Indiana State Police First Sergeant Dave Bursten.

Toilet Paper Wedding Dress Competition

Created by Susan Brennan of Orchard Lake, Mich. Inspired by nature, Brennan used flowers and feathers as decoration. Winner of $1,000
Rolls used: 4

Cheap Chic Weddings has announced the winner of their Seventh Annual Toilet Paper Wedding Dress Competition.
Using only four rolls of toilet paper, Susan Brennan of Orchard Lake, Michigan, made a pleated floral (and flush-friendly) gown that took home the first place prize of $1,000.
The purpose of the competition, at least when it started in 2004, was to draw attention to the thrift-themed wedding website , Cheap-Chic-Weddings.com, which Roxie Radford and her daughters Susan Bain and Laura Gawne, all from Boca Raton, Florida, founded in 2003.
"We almost immediately came up with expanding the idea of the popular bridal shower toilet paper game," Bain said, referring to the pre-wedding practice in which a bride's friends break into groups and create a gown out of two-ply for a lucky teammate.
Radford and daughters didn’t know what to expect from the competition. "We thought, oh dear, what is going to come in?" said Bain. The women ended up receiving over 1000 submissions that first year, some unimpressive, others unbelievably intricate.
The Cheap Chic Weddings team selects the contest's 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prize entries based on creativity, originality, and overall beauty. The only non-toilet paper materials allowed are tape, glue and thread.
But has anyone actually walked down the aisle in one of these creations? Bain only knows of a single instance.
In December 2007, when Charmin asked Cheap Chic Weddings to participate in their seasonal Times Square Restrooms promotion, Jennifer Cannon got married in a bathroom on the corner of 45th and Broadway wearing a Charmin Ultra Soft and Ultra Strong toilet tissue combination dress. It was made by the Cheap Chic competition's 2007 winner, Hanah Kim. (The officiant told the groom that while he was free to kiss the bride, he should probably refrain from squeezing the dress.)
"Our girl is still married, has a baby and a dog named Charmin," Bain said.

Paris Fashion Week: Jean Paul Gaultier gets in the aloha spirit

This season Jean Paul Gaultier switched things up format-wise, getting rid of the runway and dressing models right from the racks in front of the audience, and sending them out to walk in front of tables of buyers who were ostensibly sitting there ready to write orders.
There were two theories being whispered through the audience. One was that that designer had spent so much of his time working on his exhibition at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts that he had no time to plan a full-blown runway show. The other was that it was all a clever piece of stagecraft designed to underscore the commercial appeal of the collection. (Supporting that theory is the invitation to the show itself, printed on the front of the order form traditionally used by buyers.)
And although the result was a bit chaotic and lacking in ambiance, the cheery Hawaiian theme of the collection helped improve the mood a good deal.

Prada Is Making Fashion in China

"Sooner or later, it will happen to everyone because [Chinese manufacturing] is so good," Prada designer Miuccia Prada said in an interview. She added that the Chinese are particularly good with shoes.
European luxury fashion labels such as Prada, Gucci and Louis Vuitton have built their reputations on goods crafted at home in France and Italy. Manufacturing skills there in part justify the high prices.
The temptation to move some production abroad is growing, however. The financial crisis put pressure on the industry's operating margins. British label Burberry PLC, for instance, came under fire for closing a factory at home and moving production to Asia.

Jennifer Lopez inspired by Lady Gaga

Jennifer Lopez is inspired by Lady Gaga to do "great things."
The American Idol judge is a big fan of the "Born This Way" singer and insists creative people like Gaga make her want to be more experimental with her own music.

Speaking about the phenomenal success Gaga has achieved, J.Lo said: "I'm always motivated by other artists and inspired by them. They inspire me because when I see other people doing great things, it makes me want to do great things too."

Lopez got to experience Gaga's talents up close when she worked with her on the tracks "Hypnotico" and "Invading My Mind" for her latest album "Love?"

In an interview with MTV News, the "On the Floor" hitmaker revealed: "I love her (Gaga's) sense of lyric and melody, I feel like she's very interesting. It's just not something you're gonna hear every day."
She added: "I really love the records she worked on and was glad to be able to take those and make them my own and actually have that collaboration with her. I feel very lucky to have done that."
Despite her admiration for Gaga, Lopez has no plans to copy some of the 25-year-old musician's more outrageous antics, which have included wearing a meat dress to the MTV Video Music Awards last year and arriving at this year's Grammys in a giant egg.

Lopez, 41, said: "I never am one to look at other people and try to do what they do. I always feel like a true artist does what they do and it is very individual to who they are.
"You can't copy or do anything like that it just becomes weird but if you're true to yourself and push your own boundaries and your limits, you can't help but come out with something great."

Lady Gaga Did It That Way

Walking the red carpet at Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall, Gaga — who received the Fashion Icon Award —seriously turned heads in a colorful bob, black bustier, sheer bodysuit and 10-inch black platforms. To accept her award, Gaga removed her Mugler skirt, leaving her in the sheer bodysuit, which got a bit X-rated as it slipped down (and left nothing to the imagination from the back).

She is the only one who can bare to dress that way and well, she deserves that award bitches! (*

Seoul Allows Fendi to Feature Fur in Fashion Show

Seoul officials have decided to allow Italian fashion house Fendi to feature fur in an upcoming show in the city, reversing an earlier decision.
The city had asked Fendi to leave fur off the catwalk at its fashion show set for Thursday after animal rights activists threatened massive rallies.
Seoul official Seo Jeong-hyup said Tuesday the city changed its mind once Fendi said it would feature fewer fur products. Seo said Fendi argued it had spent months preparing.
A group of animal rights activists told reporters Tuesday they would stage an anti-fur rally and launch a consumer campaign to boycott Fendi products.
