Lady Gaga concert to cause heavy traffic near MOA, says MMDA

MANILA, Philippines — The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) on Monday advised motorists to brace for possible heavy traffic later near SM Mall of Asia where singer Lady Gaga is set to hold her controversial two-day concert.
Ema Loristo of MMDA Metrobase said that they anticipated heavy traffic along the roads leading to MOA because of the concert and protest actions against it.
She said that they will deploy enough MMDA traffic enforcers around MOA to handle the traffic situation.
Pasay City police non-uniform personnel Buen Concejo, meanwhile, said that 25 Civil Disturbance Management officers along with some 50 district and regional police officers will be deployed in the area until Tuesday to handle protest groups who planned to hold protests.
Among the groups were the BibleMode International founded by former Congressman Benny Abante and the BibleMode Youth Philippines.
“But since these are religious groups, we expect their protests to be peaceful naman,” she said.

Jennifer Lopez inspired by Lady Gaga

Jennifer Lopez is inspired by Lady Gaga to do "great things."
The American Idol judge is a big fan of the "Born This Way" singer and insists creative people like Gaga make her want to be more experimental with her own music.

Speaking about the phenomenal success Gaga has achieved, J.Lo said: "I'm always motivated by other artists and inspired by them. They inspire me because when I see other people doing great things, it makes me want to do great things too."

Lopez got to experience Gaga's talents up close when she worked with her on the tracks "Hypnotico" and "Invading My Mind" for her latest album "Love?"

In an interview with MTV News, the "On the Floor" hitmaker revealed: "I love her (Gaga's) sense of lyric and melody, I feel like she's very interesting. It's just not something you're gonna hear every day."
She added: "I really love the records she worked on and was glad to be able to take those and make them my own and actually have that collaboration with her. I feel very lucky to have done that."
Despite her admiration for Gaga, Lopez has no plans to copy some of the 25-year-old musician's more outrageous antics, which have included wearing a meat dress to the MTV Video Music Awards last year and arriving at this year's Grammys in a giant egg.

Lopez, 41, said: "I never am one to look at other people and try to do what they do. I always feel like a true artist does what they do and it is very individual to who they are.
"You can't copy or do anything like that it just becomes weird but if you're true to yourself and push your own boundaries and your limits, you can't help but come out with something great."

Lady Gaga Did It That Way

Walking the red carpet at Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall, Gaga — who received the Fashion Icon Award —seriously turned heads in a colorful bob, black bustier, sheer bodysuit and 10-inch black platforms. To accept her award, Gaga removed her Mugler skirt, leaving her in the sheer bodysuit, which got a bit X-rated as it slipped down (and left nothing to the imagination from the back).

She is the only one who can bare to dress that way and well, she deserves that award bitches! (*

Lady Gaga's Meat Dress Drew Controversy

The first time I saw Lady Gaga on 2010 VMA, I knew right then that there will be controversy after the show. And I am not surprised that it was indeed controversial.  The "meat dress" was designed by the Franz Fernandez and it is made from what appeared to be slabs of raw meat.

Although many people are trying to protest, Gaga stands by her fashion. On her interview with Ellen, she mentioned:"It's certainly no disrespect to anyone that's vegan or vegetarian," Gaga responded. "As you know, I am the most judgment-free human being on the earth. It has many interpretations, but for me this evening, it's 'If we don't stand up for what we believe in, we don't fight for our rights, pretty soon we're gonna have as much rights as the meat on our bones.'"

Well, what more can I say? "Gaga will always be Gaga!".
